BREAD FOR THE RESISTANCE

Our activism may begin with our anger and outrage,
but it only can be sustained by love.

To be activists who make an impact “doing justice”, we need strength and endurance. We need “bread for the resistance”.

Each week this season we will have a song or a scripture
to meditate on that will serve as nourishment
for our work that is ahead.

Instructions:

1. Read or listen to today’s passage or song.

2. Taste and chew (aka: prayerfully listen to the Spirit)

3.  Make note of what you heard or feel

4.  Take a photo or save the QR code link. Let it digest for you as you go into your week.

5. Return to it to reflect on and pray about this week.

6. Ask: “How is God speaking to me through this verse or song?”
