Our Vision: We are a Jesus-centered, queer affirming, inclusive community reclaiming the truth that all are seen, known and loved.

Why we’re here: We seek to exemplify the life and ministry of Jesus through our creative  and diverse expression of embodied worship practices. We are committed to join God's mission of social and environmental justice through efforts of lament, advocacy, partnerships and reparations. Through this embodied practice of worship, we discover the beauty and depth of God's unrelenting love for creation and humanity, both individually and as a communal whole, and commit to facilitating beloved community.

 
 

What we believe about the Bible:

 

We believe the Bible points us toward liberation, and Jesus desires it to be good news for us, however we lament that it has too often been a tool of oppression. The Bible always has been and always will be an interpreted text. And as the flawed and limited humans that we are, we have been the only interpreters. We recognize the church’s history of not always getting it right. We value a holistic approach to understanding scripture through the life and teaching of Jesus. We seek to re-read scripture through the lens of the marginalized and oppressed.

We believe Jesus is good news for all people. We recognize the need to remain connected to the church globally and recall our stories as a faith tradition throughout history. We learn from all the saints who have gone before us and the saints alive today who show us how to love as Jesus loved.
